Strategic use of visual working memory

In complex tasks, individuals may use visual working memory as a temporary store of important information. However, this may not always be necessary (as the important information is readily available) or desired (as the cost of storing in visual working memroy is high). In this project, we study under what circumstances people deploy visual working memory, and what are the strategies that are at someone's disposal during standard visual working meomry paradigms.
